The depth and breadth of Theta Nu's involvement

HONORS: The Brothers of Sigma Chi have set the standard for scholarship among Alma’s Fraternities. We have earned the rank of highest Brotherhood CPA for 13 out of the last 14 years. Sigma Chi was also awarded the best philanthropy program for our Derby Days Competition, which rose over $4,000 for charity. In addition, Sigma Chi brothers were singularly honored as Most Outstanding Greek Male and Most Outstanding Senior Greek Male. One was also named the Michigan Province’s most outstanding Sigma Chi Brother.

ATHLETICS: Theta Nu members participate in six Varsity sports. Brothers are involved in Cross Country, Swimming, Track, Lacrosse, Football, and Tennis. In addition, brothers can be seen participating in numerous Intramural Athletics.

ARTS: The Brothers of Sigma Chi can be seen both back stage and on stage performing with the Alma College Choir, Kiltie Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Theatre Company. In addition, Sigma Chis have been perennial contributors to the College's literary magazines and art shows.

LEADERSHIP: The Brothers of Sigma Chi invest their time and skills in many organizations including Model United Nations, Adventure Club, Pine River Anthology, Alma Leadership Alliance, Homecoming Committee Adventure Club, Alma Ambassadors, Honor Societies, Order of Omega, Hall Councils, and so much more. The fraternity holds five RA positions, and we also participate as the Vice-President and Webmaster of Student Congress, Editor-in-Chief of The Almanian, Presidents Advisory Council, Business Director of WQAC, and claim three of the seven student representatives to the Board of Trustees.
