Legislative changes (in short):
More information will be available in the upcoming issue of The Magazine of Sigma Chi
- The proposed dues proposal restructuring did not pass. There was much discussion on this issue and the general consensus was that it was a good idea, but bad timing with the current RMF Insurance situation and the rising cost of doing business. The issue will be looked at further and revisions may be brought beforeGrand Council next summer or Grand Chapter 2005.
- The wording was changed to read “event and/or meeting” dealing with how many events and or meetingsan active Alumni Chapter must have per year.
- The proposed legislation imposing term limits on certain offices was withdrawn by Brother Lee Beauchamp and will be looked at further in long term planning meetings.
