Sue Cook and Melissa Desjarlais went to my high school, and they told me about it. I thought it was amazing that there was an organization for musical women. My freshman year, I participated in the SAI/PMA Christmas Concert, and the people seemed really nice. When I got a bid, there was no way I was turning it down!
