Crosses displayed on Chapel Lawn in memory of fallen soldiers

Almanian PhotoHundreds of six-inch tall crosses will grace the chapel lawn this Thursday in an effort by the Alma College Peace Coalition to raise awareness of the events taking place over in Iraq. This event will take place one day before the one-year anniversary of when the US entered the conflict in Iraq.

Newly designed Wright Hall will incorporate tradition with modern needs

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wright Hall is set for March 31, 2004.

“Part of the College’s mission is that we have to be stewards of the world around us,” Nick Piccolo, Vice President of Student Life said. “The hall is an educational tool, and it expresses the College’s mission.”
