Alma faculty and staff voice support for Vogel

We cannot imagine that Christ would embrace the rhetoric of hate displayed in Thad Hopkins’ opinion essay. How ironic that Hopkins should share it during our week of celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. who preached the rhetoric of love. Rev. Christine Vogel is a blessing for Alma College. She is warm and wise; she embraces fairness and inclusion. She is an ideal chaplain. We are deeply grateful for her spiritual presence here and wholeheartedly support her.
